Winter beauty and activities in Michigan (Late Nov – Early Mar)

Skiing, snowshoeing, winter biking, and more
You will quickly learn as a PSIA/AASI Certified Ski and Snowboard Instructor as well as an Accredited Trainer one of Ric’s biggest passions is snowsports and his favorite season is winter! Beginner or expert, Ric has enjoyed sharing his passion for snowsports with everyone. As a host both on and off the slopes, he has ensured guests were properly equipped and prepared to have an exciting and memorable skiing or snowboarding experience.

Although the Midwest is not always noted for “vertical drop” or premiere destination resorts, people of all ages or level of experience have come to T&R to learn and hone their skiing or snowboarding skills. In the last 2 decades Ric has coached and trained thousands of clients  from literally all around the world transforming many of them into life long snowsports enthusiasts. Most of them were taught at Swiss Valley, a small family run Midwest resort just on the other side of Mt Misery from T&R!

The mission is simple, show people how to have fun on the snow. Don’t let the weather media make you hibernate,…RECREATE!!!

For the 2018/2019 season, Ric is providing his professional services to several Midwest ski areas including those located near T&R. During the times when Ric is not coaching at more distant resorts in Northern Michigan, T&R guests can request Ric’s personalized instruction & services at three nearby ski resorts: Swiss Valley (10 minutes), Timber Ridge (51 minutes), and Bittersweet Ski Resort (1 hour). Snowsports enthusiasts will have fun in Michigan’s “Winter Wonderland.”
